Historic Ayutthaya and Bang Pa-In (Tour Code BEX-304)

Tour Itinerary

Travel by car along the banks of the Chao Phraya River to arrive in Bang Pa-In, only 60 km north of Bangkok. Here, you will visit the graceful summer palace of the Kings of Thailand since its construction during the reign of King Rama V. Most notably, there are numerous contrasting architectural styles that coexist side by side, namely: Thai, Chinese, Italian and Victorian. From there, board a Thai long-tail boat and travel further upstream to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand. In the city center, you will find many temples that you are able to visit. The most famous attractions include Wat Yai Chai Mongkol with its colossal pagodas and the Wat Mongkol Bopitr, housing a large bronze Buddha statue.
