Tour Itinerary

A short ride from Chiang Rai, we will take you to visit two very colorful hilltribe villages of the Yao and the Akha, two communities who have preserved their lifestyles despite the modernization of Thailand and its people. Nearby, you will find the Golden Triangle, once infamous as the leading source of opium in the world formed between the crossroads of Thailand, Burma and Laos. En-route, two towns of Maesai and Chiang-Sean will open opportunities for you to see what a traditional Thai country lifestyle is like.

The Akha are famous for their elaborate, exotic and beautiful costumes which are worn with pride wherever they travel to. Equipped with their handicrafts and bold animated movements, these tribesmen are keen to make a sale to everyone.

The Yao are peaceful and friendly with an aristocratic demeanor. The are known for their grace and elegance and are sociable to play host to visitors.
